You may be familiar with passport photo requirements, but here we will list the specific specifications that your Vietnamese e-visa photo must meet.

  • The size of your Vietnamese e-visa photo must be 4 x 6 cm or 2 x 2 inches.
  • It must be in GIF or JPG format (PDF or PNG files are not accepted).
  • It should not exceed 2 MB in size.
  • Your portrait photo must be in color and free from filters.
  • Your portrait photo must clearly show your face (Do not let hair cover your face or cover your eyebrows).
  • The facial expression in your e-visa photo must be neutral and keep your mouth closed instead of smiling.
  • For clothing, it is recommended to wear colored clothes, but avoid white as it may blend into the background of the photo.
  • The photo must have been taken within the last 6 months.
